Baby Point BIA

Baby Point Gardens is a new urban space developed with and for the Baby Point Business Improvement Area (BIA). The space will serve as an event space and gateway marker for the BIA as well as a place for daily repose. The design features laser-cut weathering-steel columns which support a green wall of vines while featuring the name of the BIA at Jane Street; a flowing pedestrian walkway lined with continuous benches and a sheltered lush green space away from the main road.  The elements of the parkettearticulate a vernacular for the area and will be reused throughout to visually define the BIA.  

Construction was completed in fall, 2016 with plantings in spring, 2017.
