Huron Street Playground
Toronto 2016
Public consultation informed the redesign of this aging playground. Forest and Field provided a variety of options for universally-accessible and challenging playground equipment and fitness options as well as opportunities to sit and gather to accommodate passive activities. The new park offers accessible pathways through park with open access points and to the playground with accessible elements and surfacing. The layout ensured that all 40 healthy trees on site were retained to maintain the generous canopy this park has always enjoyed.
Construction was completed in fall 2016.
