
Public School in Cliffside neighbourhood
Forest and Field developed an overall master plan with the school community and Board to plan future initiatives and to identify the scope of work for the first phase. The primary scope for the first phase was parking lot reconstruction, improvements, and the replacement of the 600 sq.m. playground and structure. Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act compliance was achieved through the implementation of new accessible routes, stairs, safety. On the south side of the school, a row of shade trees was planted to provide cooling techniques to the building and facade.
