FFLA developed the overall master plan with the school community for this comprehensive construction site. FFLA completed technical drawings for tender, play structure selection process with the suppliers, acquired City of Toronto Forestry permits and completed contract administration for the project. Scope of the project included providing new running track, jump pit, consistent perimeter fencing and improving pedestrian and maintenance entrances. The schoolyard upgrades focused on the most active area where a new play structure was installed, pathways and seating were installed amongst existing and new trees for shady social spaces and new basketball courts and line paint activated the paved court areas. Expanded and reconfigured Kindergarten space to maximize its use. Construction was completed in summer 2024.
